1-2-1 consultation - The process

If you don’t need a full room design but you’re struggling with colour choices or furniture styles, or if you’ve nearly completed a room and would like advice on how to finish it off, then a 1 to 1 design consultation could be just what you need. Depending on where you live, the consultation will take place at your home or via video call.

Questionnaire

Once you’ve booked your consultation, I’ll send you a short design questionnaire to complete. I’ll also ask you to send across pictures of the room(s), together with any inspirational images that you’ve collected. If there are several things you’d like help with, you can list these in priority order so we can make the best use of our time together.

Before we meet, I’ll spend an hour reviewing everything you’ve sent and gathering ideas and inspiration, so we can get straight into your design questions during the consultation.

Consultation

We’ll spend an hour together, either via video call or in your home, working through your design questions and exploring ideas and practical solutions for your space. I’ll share my recommendations on everything from colour and layout to furniture, lighting and finishing touches, depending on what you’d like help with.

Afterwards, I’ll send over links to any products, ideas or resources we discussed so you have everything you need to move forward with confidence.

One-off consultation: £195

Video consultations are available throughout the UK. In-home consultations are available within an hour of Halifax. Travel within 10 miles is included; for locations further afield, an additional travel charge will be confirmed before booking.

This service won’t provide you with a detailed room design but is perfect if you need expert advice to get started, help making decisions or a fresh perspective on an area where you’re feeling stuck. We’ll work through as much as we can during our hour together.
