Best Online Interiors Shops for Lighting

Although I’m always on the lookout for a bargain, there are some things I will sometimes spend more on. One of those things is lighting. If I find a light I know I’ll love forever, I’ll spend a bit more. I tend to mix and match with cheaper and more expensive lighting so, whether you’re looking for a bargain or you want to treat yourself, here’s my round up of the best online lighting shops.

Graham and Green - Best for……something quirky

If I’m on the lookout for something a bit different, I know I can always count on Graham and Green. Their gold mouse lamps come in several different styles and would add interest to any space.

If you’re looking for something just as interesting but a bit more understated, you won’t be disappointed - we used their art deco Truman pendant light in our hallway and it sets off the space perfectly with a nice warm glow.

If you’re going for an industrial look or want to add an industrial twist, look no further than Industville. Their products are great quality at affordable prices. They also sell fabric flex in different styles and colours so instead of going for a boring old white plastic pendant cord, why not add a pop of colour?

Pooky - Best for…Traditional with a twist

Although Pooky do offer some contemporary styles, what they do best is traditional lighting without an old-fashioned feel. They often pair traditional-styled bases with more contemporary shades, creating a more eclectic look.

They also have a great selection of outdoor lights if you’re looking for garden lighting ready for summer!

houseof - Best for…..Contemporary

Houseof is great if you want to make a statement with a contemporary look. They’ve recently collaborated with interior designer, Emma Gurner, to create the lovely pleat range. They have a range of flush ceiling fittings too so perfect for new-build homes where the ceilings are lower. I also love their company values of “designing beautiful products” and “being nice to people”!
